Storyfest - Terms & Conditions - Responsibility & Liability

The name "Storyfest" includes all seminars, programs, and tours conducted by R. B. Wilhelm and M. J. K. Wilhelm under various names including: Storyfest Journeys, Inn of the Storytellers, Potomac Heritage Tours and the School of Sacred Storytelling

Storyfest and its agents shall not be responsible nor liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, expense, nor delay beyond their control. Storyfest serves only "as agents" for travel agencies, motorcoaches, hotels, retreat centers, restaurants, historic sites, tourist guides and offices, and other contractors.

All airline and all other transportation ticketing is the sole responsibility of the registrant and his or her travel agent. Travel delays by transportation companies are the sole responsibility of those companies. Storyfest shall bear no liability nor responsibility for airline tickets or supplemental travel arrangements purchased by the registrant.

Storyfest does not arrange for strangers to share rooms. If you would like to share a room, please invite family or friends to attend the event with you. Otherwise, you will have a private room.

Storyfest reserves the right to cancel the seminar at any time before departure, to refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of the seminar at any time, and to make changes in published schedules and itineraries when, in their sole judgment, such conditions warrant or are deemed necessary for the learning, comfort, convenience, or safety of seminar registrants. If an individual is not retained for the entire seminar, the unused portion of the seminar fees will be refunded.

If the registrant makes deposits and other payments and then cancels, no refund is due. However, all deposits and payments may be transferred to another person for the same event by the cancelling registrant. Deposits and payments may not be applied to future events.

If the seminar is canceled by Storyfest for reasons within their control, all fees for the land portion only, including all deposits and payments, will be refunded to the registrants. Storyfest encourages registrants to obtain travel insurance to cover all costs should Storyfest, for cancellation reasons outside their control, be unable to provide or continue services nor provide refunds. The events outside their contral include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, war, terrorism, or acts of God.

Registrants must inform Storyfest of any and all medical conditions that may be relevant to their travel health and safety.

Please Note: Storyfest strongly recommends the purchase of trip insurance from your travel or insurance agent. Storyfest does not provide trip insurance.
