All courses are on-line or on-site. They are designed to complement each other.
On-Line "Seminars" meet for sixteen weeks. Access is 24/7 for the student's convenience. Each Lesson covers two weeks and requires two to four hours of preparation. Completion yields two course credits at the School of Sacred Storytelling. Tuition covers weekly presentations by the mentor in both written text and spoken word format. Students must be able to read PDF documents through their email, and also to listen to Mp3 files ("podcasts") received by email. (Adequate computer equipment and access through an internet service provider is the student's responsibility.) Tuition is $495
On-Site "Storyfests" are in 3-day, 4-night formats. They meet 2 hours each morning, afternoon and evening. Tuition for 2 credits is $495. Lodging and meals are additional.
On-Line Seminars do not require participation in an On-Site Storyfest. On-Site Storyfests do require prior participation in an On-Line seminar.
Ten seminars are required to finish the Apprenticeship program.
Mentorships The School of Sacred Storytelling is a mentorship experience not an academic program. Your instructor, Dr. Robert Béla Wilhelm, is your mentor -- guiding, supporting, and challenging you to become a sacred storyteller with professional expertise in your ministry. And, you will be welcomed and supported by a larger community, especially in the apprenticeship and fellowship programs through the series of Master Storytelling seminars & storyfests.
