Session 1
The Evangelists each had their own way of telling the Gospel Story. A look at the art & technique of Mark, Matthew, Luke & John. How to discover your own storytelling perspective by learning from the Four Evangelists.

Session 2
Parables are at the heart of Gospel stories. How to tell stories in the manner of Jesus' parables. The technique of sacred storytelling, step-by-step.

Session 3
Jewish traditions as the source for the parables of Jesus and the Evangelists. Understanding the "Midrash" of Jewish storytelling.
Also,
Jesus told his parables differently in "The Marketplace" and at "The Banquet table."

Session 4
Understanding the place of "wonder" in the human heart and the importance of Miracle and Healing in the Gospels. Relating the Gospels to the Creed in evangelization and catechesis.

Session 5
What we can learn from the retellings of the Gospel stories over the centuries. Examples of Biblical storytelling over the centuries, and the ways to apply the Gospels to the needs of different cultures.

Session 6
Understanding the relationship between the core Passion Narratives and the rest of the Gospel.
Each session is an integrated process of storytelling, reflection, and discussion for the participants.
