Judy Blanton
MISSOURI
Master Storyteller, Graduated 2007
Judy Blanton has been telling stories for more than 25 years as part of her profession and ministry as a Director of Religious Education and as a professional storyteller the last 3 years. She has told stories in various settings to children, teens, adults and families.

Like a “patch work quilt,” stories can help us piece together our life, our family, our community, and possibly our world.

Judy firmly believes our stories and storytelling have the power to teach, enrich and heal the teller and listener.

Stories help us to see ourselves and others with new eyes. Stories can open us up to new possibilities in our lives. When we recognize ourselves in stories, they have the power to bring the teller and listener closer together.

Judy uses heritage and historical information, personal and family stories, folk tales, myths, biblical and various sacred stories in her customized presentations.

Storytelling events, retreats, family reunions, workshops, faculty/staff work days and heritage/historical events can be designed for your particular needs.

Everyone has a story to share – a piece of the quilt – to help piece together our life and the world for future generations
